Valerie Gilreath is a team member and evaluator for Bartow Against Drugs local prevention activities. Ms. Gilreath has a B.A. in English and an M.F.A. in poetry from Georgia State University. She has 15 years of experience with evaluation of grant funded projects. She has conducted program evaluations for Bartow Collaborative Family Connection, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Etowah Area Consolidated Housing Authority, Georgia Department of Public Health – Northwest Region, and the Bartow County School System among others. In connection with these projects, she has reported to many state and federal agencies, including the Department of Education, the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and the Department of Human Services. In addition, Ms. Gilreath is an accomplished grant writer who has averaged $2M in proposals funded for the past 17 years.
